The 200 mile Coast and Castle Cycle Route links the Forth and the Tyne estuaries taking in some of our superb natural heritage.
In North Northumberland it includes country roads and off-road trails, passing through the old fishing villages of Seahouses and Beadnell, taking in the castles and forts of Warkworth, Dunstanburgh, Bamburgh and Lindisfarne.

Many cyclists choose to tackle the final stretch of the Pennine Cycleway, 17 miles from Wooler to Berwick which passes the Castles of Ford, Etal and Norham.Inland you'll find the forest trails of Keilder ideal for the serious Mountain Cyclist or Trailer.
With a combination of hill and seaside routes it doesn’t matter whether you are a dedicate cyclist or a family after some communal exercise, there’s something here for everyone.
