Seahouses Northumberland

Seahouses is a real working village on the North Northumberland Coastline

Seahouses is the village that grew up around North Sunderland Harbour,

Once a vibrant fishing port landing, processing and packing Herring, the harbour today is just as busy with brightly coloured craft taking visitors out to the Farne Islands on bird watching, photographic and diving trips.

Sea fishing can also be booked and many a diving group and specialist club can launch its own boats from the little beach. Seahouses is also a good stopping off point as you walk up or down the coast between Bamburgh and Beadnell Bay and further along to Dunstanburgh Castle and the village of Craster. North Sunderland Harbour, as the harbour at Seahouses is officially known,  is the base for the RNLI shop a the top of the Harbour Road which supports this essential voluntarily funded organisation.
