The Amble Puffin Festival - in celebration of the Puffin - held annually in Amble on Spring Bank Holiday Weekend, great fun and events for all the family.
Warworth Castle - Warkworth - English Heritage Site open daily 10am-6pm. Special Events - St. George's Day Pageant 22nd/23rd April, Medieval Weekend 27th May, Falconry 25th, 26th July, Outdoor Theatre - Peter Pan 29th July.
Druridge Bay, a 7 mile stretch of sandy beach running south from Amble and the 100 acre Ladyburn Lake, bounded by woodland, try surfing in the sea, or canoeing or windurfing on the lake. The Druridge Bay Country Park has its own visitor centre and cafe and is open daily.
Alnmouth is renowned for its sandy beaches and pretty coloured seaside houses around the bay.
