A stone holiday home occupying the complete 1st floor of the original mill building with spacious accommodation including a balcony overlooking the Waren Burn - the original “mill race”. Flexible bedrooms allow for a choice of 1 SuperKing double/Twin room with ensuite Shower Room, and 2 King double rooms. There are 2 en-suite shower rooms plus a separate bathroom with bath with separate shower.

    The apartment is extremely well furnished and equipped with huge open-plan kitchen/dining and lounge area. The bedrooms are carpeted throughout and bathrooms have pebble effect floors. An ideal property for couples, small families or individual travellers holidaying together. The Gearings can be booked along with other Spindlestone properties for larger gatherings.

    Whilst dogs are not accept in the Grain Rooms, they are in other of the Spindlestone properties.

    Notes and Conditions:
    • The Gearings accepts short breaks: usually Friday to Monday and Monday to Friday - 1-3/4 nights @ 80% of weekly rate, 5+ nights @ 100% of weekly rate.
    • The Gearings requires a £250 Good Housekeeping Bond to be lodged for the duration of your stay.
    • Low occupancy discounts may apply at certain times of the year for 1 bedroom occupation i.e. up to 2 persons, excludes all periods of school, and bank holidays and applies to 7 night bookings only.
    • Note this property is adjacent to the Waren Burn so children should be supervised in this area at all times.
    • The property is on the 1st floor and access is via 2 flights of stairs, there is no lift available.

    Spindlestone Mill is nestled in the tiny hamlet of Spindlestone. As its name suggests it has been a working mill and as such is adjacent to the Waren Burn the original "mill race", and offers the opportunity to catch a glimpse of a huge range of wildlife and birds whilst being only a mile walk along a quiet lane to the well vantaged birdwatching habitat of Budle Bay.
