A spacious house with 3 bedrooms and two bathrooms provides high quality accommodation for up to 8 people, and a further 4 people can be accommodated sleeping in the annexe 2 bedrooms, 1 shower room and 1 ensuite shower room. Ample Off Road Parking, large dining kitchen with Aga style range, very large lounge with flat screen TV, and Log burner. The house also has free Wi-fi. Sorry no smokers or pets.

    Located just 3 miles inland from the village of Bamburgh with its majestic castle and splendid stretches of golden sands, Golden Hill provides a great base from which to explore the area and all it offers, and if you wish to participate in your favourite activity or to learn a new one, whilst you stay, you can do that easily as well through the manager's company, Northern Outdoor.

    Golden Hill welcomes well behaved dogs (up to 2) @ £25 per dog per week or part thereof. When you book you will be asked to provide some information about your pet which will aide the owner in ensuring that the property is set up to welcome them.

    A bit of K9 etiquette should be observed during your stay:-

    • Your pet should not be left in the property unattended (unless crated - crates can be hired - see what can be arranged on the main description tab)
    • Your pet should not be allowed in the bedrooms or on furniture
    • On booking for your pet, you are confirming that it is fully up to date on its flea treatment.

    Golden Hill is a detached property in its own grounds, situated about 3 miles outside of Bamburgh enroute to the A1. It is an ideal base from which to explore both the coastal and inland areas of North Northumberland and is just a short drive from Berwick and Alnmouth where there are main line Railway Stations providing less than 1 hour access to Edinburgh or Newcastle.
