"Our first holiday with Stay Northumbria but certainly won't be our last. Topcliffe worth its star rating, exceptionally clean, wonderful quality bedding, cosy and warm. Weather been excellent, can't believe it's November. Perfect location for beach walks. Such comfy beds and we loved the little touch of the toiletries. Hope to return again to Topcliffe."

    Harrison clan - Nov 2016

"Been to Beadnell a lot but first time at Topcliffe. Lovely house with fabulous views out to sea which we loved. We have had some great days out and also some great walks along the coast from the house, going both north to Bamburgh and south to Low Newton. Will definitely be back."

    The Hargreaves - Oct 2016

"Another great holiday at Topcliffe. Weather has been very kind, with lovely sunshine most days. Have again enjoyed the fabulous beach walks, the excellent nearby pubs for good food and ales, shopping in the local towns and villages and general exploring. We will be back - it's just such an amazing place to be."

    The Hughes - Oct 2016

"Our 4th year here and didn't disappoint!! This must be the most beautiful coastline ever!! Weather has been amazing, broke on Wed with sea fog. Having to miss next year but wil be back in 2018!"

    The Wrights - Sep 2016

"First time at this holiday cottage but won't be the last. Had a lovely week, great weather and a very comfortable stay. Very well equipped house. Hope to see you again next year."

    The Collishaws - Sep 2016

"We are new to Northumberland and haven't been disappointed. Beautiful beaches, friendly people and very well-equipped cottage. We even managed a BBQ one evening. This was our first trip away with our cocker spaniel and he's been in heaven. The bed is very comfortable too."

    Smylie family - Aug 2016

"Lovely cottage, warm and comfortable. Great views of the sunsets! Nice sheltered garden with seating just right for a relaxing cuppa! We had a beautiful day in the July 2016 heatwave, perfect on the beach. For a change our dog was tired out!"

    The Fairmans - Jul 2016

"We have had a great week at Topcliffe. Lots of walking and playing on the beach. Our little boy has really enjoyed it, with hiking and surf boarding down the dunes. The dog has had a great time with lots of freedom on the near empty beaches. Planning our summer visit already."

    Stevens family - Jun 2016

"A fabulous stay at Beadnell. Topcliffe suited us perfectly - everything we needed and very comfortable. A perfect location, so convenient and with the lovely sea view from the dining table. Thank you."

    Bell family - Apr 2016

"Another very happy time at Topcliffe. Weather changed from stormy cold to wall-to-wall crisp spring sunshine. House is wonderful base to explore from and return to. We keep finding more things to do, places we haven't visited yet, so we will be back again. Looking forward to it already!"

    Hughes - Apr 2016

"This is our second visit. Topcliffe is a fab cottage. Great location. Lovely walks. Topcliffe has everything that you could possibly need to have a fantastic holiday. See you next year."

    The Etheringtons - Apr 2016

"A wonderful holiday, clean and very comfortable house. We will be back."

    Glancy family - Mar 2016

"A great place to escape from the Christmas madness. Five days of dry, windy and bright weather for beach walks and only one when we did not go out because of rain. Christmas lunch as Victoria Hotel, Bamburgh - very good and a meal at the Spice House in Seahouses - also good. House good - thanks."

    The Roberts - Dec 2015

"We keep coming back to this lovely part of the world & find yet more things to do & places to explore. Some challenging weather this week but where better to sit, cosy & warm & watch the stormy waves than in a comfortable & welcoming Topcliffe. Perfect for our elderly retriever who appreciates the quick & easy access to lovely Beadnell beach as well as the bonus of a suntrap back garden. We plan to be back - and hope to make it sooner rather than later!"

    Celia, David 7 Owen - Oct 2015

"Really happy with our choice of cottage. Fantastic location with great views. This is our 3rd visit to the area and we still found lots of new places to visit. Cragside is a must what a great place to spend a full day. Lots of good places to eat nearby. Had the most amazing gluten free pizza at Elan Pizzeria in Seahouses. Others worth a mention are The Fishing Boat Inn at Boulmer and the Copper KettleTearoom in Bamburgh for gluten free food. Couldn't have asked for better weather for walking the dogs on numerous fabulous beaches. Can't wait to come back."

Dave, Nicky, Murphy & Zak Cooper, Falkirk - Oct 2015

"We had a great week in Beadnell - and loved Topcliffe as our holiday base. It was well equipped and had clear instructions for everything. And a great location opposite the beach."

    Mr MacGilivray - Sep 2015
