Just a hop skip and a jump - well a few paces anyway - and you'll be dashing through the dunes and onto the huge expanse of beach that runs from Seahouses to Bamburgh. The house itself also has uninterrupted views of the open countryside to the Castle and back at home outside is a stunning garden, with mini gardens to do in what you want - have a barbecue at the main table, pop through the clematis clad arch to the enclosed grassed area to play with the kids of the dog or visit the quiet area and read a book or sip champagne....the choice is yours.
Inside you'll find that Sunshine is beautifully and practically furnished, owners David and Clare have put oodles of thought into what you might need during your seaside break. So they've catered for just about everything - walkers, golfers, birdwatchers, divers, the seasoned holiday maker, groups of friends or family coming together. There's a fantastic library with books on just about anything plus the well thumbed paperback for an easy read, there's games for the kids and a few for the adults too - toys and games in the huge garage plus a multi game table with table football and the like. If you are into cooking you can conjer up a quick sandwich for the beach or gourmet meal for 10, and barbie for even more.
The accommodation itself sleeps 10 in 2 twin rooms, 2 double room, (one is on the ground floor) and the master bedroom can be either a super kingsize double or a twin it also has an ensuite shower room. The main family bathroom is large with a capacious bath and a separate shower and downstairs there is a separate cloak room. The lounge is large but still cosily furnished with a log burning stove ideal for autumn and winter breaks, and large sofas where all the crowd can congregate after a day out. There's also a quiet area at the library end of the room, and the TV has a freeview package and DVD player.
So all in all we think you'll find everything you need at Sunshine House including parking for up to 4 cars , secure storage and drying area for outdoor gear, or dive equipment, and we even welcome well behaved dogs.
