Reviews

Flat met our requirements and our only issue was with heating and there was no blue bin for re-cycling that we could see.

Mr M,

Our 2nd stay this year, and will be returning again for sure. This cottage has everything you need for a comfortable stay and is in the perfect location. Highly recommended.

Mrs M,

Lovely cottage with enclosed back yard. Great for letting the dog out. Property was clean and had everything we needed. Great location for getting to all amenities in Seahouses and just a 10 min walk to the beach. Only negatives were the access to the property, you have to go through a tight archway which took a bit of skill at first. Wasn't helped though by the builders on the property at the end of the lane taking up valuable turning space (but this is likely to be just temporary as property renovations almost complete). TV was very temperamental (once you can work out how to use the remotes - which didn't always work) and bed was very creaky, the springs need oiling and wasn't very comfortable. Overall though a nice place to stay, good value for money.

Mrs B,

The property was in a good location for the town, harbour and amenities. Seahouses is a location for the attractions in the area.

Mr C,

Lovely property in a fantastic location with everything you need for a comfortable staycation. Would definitely stay here again.

Mrs M,

Cottage was well equipped, clean and comfortable. Reduced the cleanliness score slightly as we looked up at the skylights during heavy rain and they had huge old cobwebs hanging off them. Cottage is in an excellent location and courtyard setup means it's very sociable. Very quickly felt like home from home.

Ms Shona S,

There's a few point with thr holiday home. We felt tgr shower could do with some attention as the holder and head were not compatible. Some dust issues in bathroom and livingroom that could be easily remedied. No chopping board? Only 2 wine glasses. Hangers were all different and just looked like they had been left behind. The Property asked us to hoover on departure but the hoover was old and snelt very bad. Think it would be adviced to buy a bag less hoover so previous dirt is removed reducing smell. Glass was not allowed in recycling bin but no advice given on what do do with it. We found glass from previous tenants and removed as it was bin week. Just small things but they built up.

Mrs Clodagh A,

Lot of heavy cobwebs hanging from ceiling which is very high so understand it's difficult, also info says bins emptied on a Thursday but it's Wednesday, otherwise it was very good everything we needed close to town centre and beach and clean and tidy.

Mrs Lynne A,

We will come back but it's not for everyone. Not very well cleaned, tough creaking mattress and the roof is about to blow off with the next storm. But we love it.

Mr Terry W,

Location
