| The perfect place to start 2012! The cottage has been warm and cosy and the perfect base for visiting Dunstanburgh Castle, Holy Island and walking the beach to Bamburgh. The pint of milk was gratefully received when we arrived and the extra bits and pieces made it home from home. We'll definitely recommend the cottage to friends and hope to return one day. |

| What a perfect get away!! A clean and welcoming cottage (as ever). A wonderful surprise when we found out there were Christmas Eve fireworks on the harbour - which were noisy. colourful and spectacular. Christmas day filled with dog walking and a fantastic Christmas Day Lunch at The Warren House Hotel - highly recommended. Boxing day sales at the Metro Center and the 27th December exploring Berwick-upon-Tweed and the wonderful beach at Bamburgh. Once again thank you for perfect accommodation which helped make this Christmas getaway on of the best ever - hardly any rain !! We will of course be back again. A happy New Year to all |

| We've had a great week and have fallen in love with Seahouses. Enjoyed excellent food at The Ship, fantastic fish and chips at the 19th Hole and a cracking curry from the Indian Brasserie. Found the cottage well equipped, comfortable and ideally situated. Enjoyed beach walks to Bamburgh and Beadnell the boat trip (on the Golden Gate) to The Farne Islands was a must. Looking forward to returning in the not so distant future. |

| Had a lovely week in Seahouses visiting family and seeing the sights. Cottage was excellent base as everything on your door step. Welcome package was well received especially the Swiss Roll with a cup of tea. Cottage well equipped and would stay here again next time we visit. Best Fish & Chips from the 19th Hole (next to the crazy golf) fish fried to order and big portions. Best pub The Ship.

| We drove to Seahouses from Newton on Sat 16th July - it was one of the worst days we've ever had with windscreen wipers going at fastest speed nearly all the time, but the rain and spray made for a tiring journey. What a revelation on arriving at No2 Cliff House Cottage - and what a little treasure with everything waiting for us to start our Northumbrian Holiday.
Subsequently it has proved to be a perfect gem in :- 1. Position, everything you need or want within minutes walking 2. Quiet and peaceful 3. Very comfortable
We've driven around the area and in our opinion the following are worth visits :- 1. Craster for sea food. 2. Bamburgh for history 3. Holy Island for history 4. Landing visit to the Farne Islands magical 5. The Olde Ship Inn beer and food are exceptional 6. Alnwick - The castle and new garden, The Royal Northumberland Fusiliers Museum.
Our only regret is that we have to leave on Saturday the 23rd of July 2011. We can't wait for our next visit.
Have a great holiday |

| We arrived on Monday afternoon and the bread, cake, butter & milk were very much appreciated after our long trip. The K9 welcome pack was also a lovely touch! ... we went to the Links for dinner on Wednesday evening was wonderful......We've found the cottage to be very warm and cosy and really well equiped and hope to come back very soon; the peaceful pace of life has been a welcome change and we've found the locals very warm and friendly. |

| There is nothing we can add. It would only add to the superlatives. I have been coming to Seahouses for more than 50 years but this has been my most enjoyable visit so far. |

| Great location! the Xmas Eve fireworks on the harbour were just round the corner. Although the weather & snow covering made driving "interesting" we still managed to get out and about......Cottage had everything we needed and enjoyed our stay very much. |

| Our second visit to No2 and yet again a good time was had by all... This place is very special - wide open spaces - uncrowded beaches and amazing sights......we walked for miles discovering loads of new and beautiful places. Favourite food: the Castle Hotel in Bamburgh. Favourite place : Budle Bay. Cottage very cosy with everything you could need. Cake especially welcome after our long journey from the Midlands. |

Only 50 yards outside the courtyard and you are on the top of the harbour wall, where seating is provided so you can while away the hours watching the toings and froings of harbour life, or stretch your legs on the beautiful beaches which run North and South and are ideal for leisurely walks, or for those more adventurous try the 6 mile return beach walk to Bamburgh, or the 14 mile return journey to Newton by the Sea (great pub awaits for the mid walk break). The cottage is close to all the village amenities - shops, butchers, bakers (no candlestick maker tho), pubs & restaurants, newsagents, petrol station, library, resource centre for internet access, takeaways, and the harbour where you can leave on excursions to visit the Farne Islands, to see Puffins (June & July), Grey Seals and many other species of birds. The area is popular with birdwatchers and photographers. Just 2.5 miles up the coast by road is Bamburgh and its wonderful castle on a rocky outcrop overlooking the beach, and 15 miles south you'll find Alnwick Castle and Garden a popular spot for those with green fingers, and Harry Potter fans (the castle was Hogwarts and the site of the quiddich pitch in the 1st two films).
