| Once again we have had a fantastic time, cottage warm and cosy. The provision of tea, coffee and cake was very welcoming. The weather was excellent. Would recommend the walk from Seahouses to Beadnell along the beach. We will be back again next year. Thanks |

| Perfect little cottage, just yards from the harbour was the ideal location for our week of walks & ball throwing for our lovely little pooch Louie. The beaches are the most magnificent I have any seen in this country, and when faced with an expanse of flat, golden sand that seems to stretch forever, there is no doubt there is nothing more breath-taking than our own country when the sun shines (which it did more often than the forecast suggested! ) Among the man highlights were the walk from Craster to Dunstanburgh Castle, the wonderful Beadnell Bay, and the cosy Ship Inn near the beach at Low Newton by the Sea. Don't forget to have a pint or two in the bar at The Olde Ship in Seahouses and the gorgeous home made pie at The Black Swan round the corner!

| We all enjoyed our stay very much, Seahouses is one of the most beautiful places and we will truly miss this. The cottage was wonderful, everything we could have asked for. The Marina pub in Amble serves very good food to a high standard. Newton-by-the-sea was a lovely little village with a great pub and drinks. We are greatful for tis great time we had here including Olly (the dog). |

| .......The cottage in the courtyard has been blissfully quiet...... we enjoyed watching the waves crashing over the harbour at Craster - very dramatic. Would recommend Paxton House nr. | Our second stay in Seahouses. A good walk from Craster to Howick Hall and back to a good crab sandwich at the Shoreline Cafe in Craster, bettered only by that at the Copper Kettle in Bamburgh! Dinner good at Beadnell Towers. Try Carter's the butchers at Bamburgh - wonderful sausages and pies! |

| Arrived to fresh cream cake and a cup of coffee - treats for our two border terriers, makes you feel welcome immediately. Went diving Saturday with William Shiels, excellent boat with a top class Skipper. Nice to be able to take the dogs round to the Black Swan and the Schooner pubs for a beer and chat with the locals. Has a very relaxing few days - will be coming again next year. P.S. nip round to Swallows for a cod fillet, lightly flour and fry for a few minutes - enjoy! |

| Ours was a last minute decision, after going to Edinburgh for a Rugby match! We just fancied a look at Northumberland and were so lucky to find this place. The cottage is ideal for us well equipped, comfortable and so close to the harbour. The welcome pack was a lovely surprise and much appreciated. After a day spent exploring, especially in the recent dramatic weather, it was so lovely to return to No6. A great decision to stay here and we'll be back. |

| Had a brilliant time ! A great cottage, especially for a toddler - we much appreciated the lack of stairs and delicate china ornaments. We enjoyed watching the seabirds, the quickly - accessible beach for digging with the toddler. Lovely lunch in The Olde Ship, good trip to Holy Island. Plenty to do with a baby. Thanks for a lovely stay |

| It's only the middle of our stay so I shouldn't be writing in this book yet I can't resist. Is it bad luck to write about the holiday before it is finished? We like the cottage. We like Seahouses. We are here quite by chance...... I had once been to Seahouses more than twenty years ago...... It is our last night we have supped on gourmet nut roast prepared in the compact and adequately equipped kitchen and are having a rest before desert, baked apples and double ginger ice-cream from the excellent "Northumbrian Hamper". We have sampled salmon steaks and of course, Seahouses Kippers from the "Swallow fish shop". We had to browse through cookery books in the Sue Ryder shop to find out how to cook them. We recommend "The Ship at Low Newton-by-the-sea and Dunstanburgh castle just a little further along the coast. |
