We had a lovely week's stay at Iris Lodge. The property was very clean and in a good location. Local provisions such as bread, honey and milk on arrival were a much welcomed treat after a long drive, and it meant we didn't have to go out and find a supermarket till the next morning. The village of Longhorsley is lovely and had 2 play areas which are prefect for the children (even my older son loved the play area). My children also liked the fact the property had Netflix and good WiFi. Mary and Dorothy the owners of the property were very friendly and made us very welcome and answered all of our questions and gave us a welcome pack with lots of ideas of things to do and places to see etc. I would highly recommend Iris Lodge and if we ever come up to Northumberland again we would definitely stay there again. We had a fabulous week exploring Northumberland.

Mrs W,

Our hosts (Dorothy and Mary) were exceptional, very warm, friendly and so keen to ensure all was well and we enjoyed our stay. As an example, the TV broke and they replaced it with a new one in just a couple of hours. The property is delightful, very well located, newly updated and very comfortable. Our hosts left us a number of local provisions which were delicious and very much appreciated. We would stay again and definitely recommend the cottage to others.
