Reviews

What a lovely, lovely house. Beautifully equipped with everything that a large group of people could possibly want or need. Stylishly decorated, comfortable beds, spotlessly clean and spacious. Kitchen large and airy, with 2 fridges (one of which we used for alcohol and Easter Eggs!) and a freezer. All the essentials, such as salt

Past Customer,

Excellent accommodation for family gathering with space for everyone. Good location to access walks, beach, coastal towns, Northumbria's castles and visitor high spots.

Past Customer,

Great accommodation for 8 adults (could be 10) and 1 dog. Well equipped kitchen and plenty of room for cooking and eating. Very near the coast and the A1 so easy access for sightseeing. Only problem with showers, not easy to keep at the right temperature.

Past Customer,

The accommodation was spacious and comfortable enough to accommodate 8 adults and 2 infants. The bedrooms were large with comfortable beds. The kitchen had enough utensils and pans but lacked serving dishes. The house was warm but there wasn't enough control over the temperature. Quiet area within walking distance of the sea, if you like walking, otherwise a 10 minute drive, to good coffee shops and pubs. Plenty of parking space adjacent to the accommodation.

Past Customer,

We were looking for a large cottage near the coast to cater for 10 of us. We found it in Millkeepers Lodge. When we walked in the door we knew it was going to be nice but didn’t realise just how lovely it was until we walked around. It was cosy, comfy and just fabulous. We had four girls with us ages 9-12 and they loved it. The den was ‘their room’. We were out every day and it was great to come back into the comfort of the cottage which had everything you needed. The cottage is near Budle Bay and only a couple of miles from Bamburgh so its ideally located for most of the places you nee to visit in Northumbria. We had a great week and would definitely go back. Thank you to the owners for keeping it so lovely.

Past Customer,
