Bamburgh First is a brand that was created by the owner because he realised that many second homes were often full of all the furniture and fittings that their owners didn’t want in their main house. He wanted to create accommodation that was as beautiful as the setting.

Every house has been decorated by a professional interior designer who has been briefed to follow the spirit of the house whilst making it feel special like a Knightsbridge Hotel. The beds are top hotel quality as is the linen and we hope that everything will feel special right down to the personally selected sweetie tin and the voucher for a pound of the best sausages in the world.

This perfect rural location inbetween the A1 and the beautiful coastal village of Bamburgh, is where you’ll find Apple Blossom Cottage. Just a short drive from Bamburgh’s long stretches of beaches, the historic castle and the sights of Alnwick, Wooler, Holy Island and the Cheviots.

Split over two floors, this property has three bedrooms all on the second floor. All passageways and doorways on the lower level have been widened for full wheelchair access.

Parking is to the front of the property and with a small, flat mono-blocked area that can be used as a drop off point for any guests who are less stable on their feet. Patio doors at the rear of the property lead into the courtyard area.

Ground Floor

There is level access to the property, leading into a small hallway, downstairs bathroom and an open plan living area. The open plan living space includes a fully fitted kitchen with marble worktops as well as a comfortable, leather seating area suitable for up to six guests. The ground floor has a tiled bathroom with toilet, wash hand basin and a bathtub.

First Floor

A bright stairway leads up to 3 bedrooms:
Bedroom 1: This is a large double bedroom with a zip and link bed which can be either a super king double or a twin singles. The room has two bedside tables with reading lights and a small hanging area. A tiled en-suite shower room with vanity area.
Bedroom 2: A small twin room with bedside table and reading light. There is a small hanging space for clothing and small vanity area.
Bedroom 3: Another small twin room with bedside table and reading light. Also with small hanging space and vanity area.
