Would you like to visit a freshly refurbished property in the ever popular village of Bamburgh? Part of the Armstrong Cottage collection, the property benefits from traditional looks with a contemporary interior, making a guests stay one of comfort and relaxation. This is an ideal property for a small family or a couples destination with no shortage of wonderful sights and activities within the surrounding area to keep everyone entertained.
Positioned just across the road from the surrounding sand dunes, the golden sands of the beach are a mere 2 minute walk away, with the imposing Bamburgh Castle, viewable from garden, just a 300 metre walk down the road. Village amenities such as a host of pubs, restaurants and stores are within easy walking distance from the property.
The property has a fitted kitchen with a host of modern appliances, a living room with dining table and, new for 2017, a cosy multi-fuel stove. There's a spacious double bedroom 3.3 x 3.6m, with a fitted wardrobe and a smaller twin or king sized 'zip & link' bedroom 3.2 x 2.8m. (Please state preferred setup when booking, if no request is made at the time of booking this room will be made up as convenient for the housekeeper). The bathroom has a shower over the bath, WC and wash basin. Enjoy the garden with outdoor furniture and views of Bamburgh Castle. You also have access to an outdoor storage unit which houses a BBQ, table and chairs and buckets and spades.

One or two small or medium dogs or one large size dog are welcome. Dogs are not allowed on the furniture, must not be left unaccompanied (unless left in a crate), and should sleep on their own bed or in their crate. Pet fees are £25 per pet.
Excellent cosy cottage, very nice decor. 10-12 minutes walk into Bamburgh which was fine for us, maybe too far for less able visitors. We would definitely return. We have been customers of GDH for many years, always had excellent service, great clean cottages. We always try to use GDH for Northumberland.
An exceptional cottage, warm & comfortable. Thanks to the housekeeper, who obviously takes a great deal of effort to keep the cottage running well for guests
