Description

This most spacious stone cottage is situated in the attractive village of Belford, just a ten minute drive from Bamburgh, famous for its majestic castle and wonderful sandy beach. Stable Cottage benefits from a large sunny enclosed rear garden with a sheltered patio complete with garden furniture, great for sunny evenings, and a games room equipped with a small pool table. Belford is ideally placed providing easy access to the many attractions of the Heritage Coast and also to the unspoiled countryside of north Northumberland and the Borders. The area of wetland to the west of Bamburgh is Budle Bay, a nature reserve visited by many sea and wading birds. From here there are views across to Holy Island, home to the Lindisfarne Gospels. The Island can be reached at low tide by a causeway from the mainland. Local amenities such as pubs, a hotel/restaurant, shops and a golf course are within easy walking distance. Several other golf courses nearby, also fishing, horse riding and bouldering available nearby. An excellent base for a family holiday.
