Description

Silver Fox Barn situated in the small hamlet of Hetton Hall, has been recently fully refurbished and equipped to an exceptional standard providing an excellent base to explore this unspoilt Northumberland countryside. Forming part of an attractive development, this stone barn conversion retains traditional features which include the beamed ceilings downstairs and high beamed ceilings in the main bedrooms to give the feeling of bright and spacious accommodation. It has been tastefully furnished with brand new hand crafted furniture by Indigo, comfy modern sofas and finishing touches of local and historical interest. The Cheviot Hills to the west provide excellent walking/mountain biking terrain and are easily reached on quiet country roads. Bamburgh with it's magnificent castle and sweeping sandy beach and Holy Island, which can be reached at low tide are only a short 15 minute drive. Chillingham Castle and the Chillingham herd of wild white cattle are nearby. There are shops, pubs serving food and an excellent farm shop/café at Belford. Walking, cycling, golf, horse riding and fishing all available locally.

Farmhouse style kitchen with oak table, range cooker with electric oven and gas hob, combi microwave, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, washing machine and French doors opening out to enclosed garden and patio area. 

Lounge with wood burning stove, TV with Freeview, DVD and arch over patio doors leading to rear enclosed garden.

First floor - Bedroom 1 - Super king-size bed, en-suite shower room, WC and walk-in dressing room. 

Bedroom 2 - Super king-size bed. 

Bedroom 3 - Twin beds. 

Bathroom with over bath shower, heated towel rail and WC.


Electricity and oil central heating included.  All logs provided for stove. Sorry no cot or highchair.  Shaver point.  Off road parking for 3 cars.  Shop/pub/PO 3 miles in Chatton.  Duvets with linen and towels.  2 dogs welcome@ £15 per pet per week.

  • There are double wooden gates at the entrance to the gravel drive.
  • The Keysafe is on the garden wall on the left of the drive as you enter, across the lawn.
  • From the drive to the main entrance, there is a short path, about 5 yards long.

 Main entrance

  • The main entrance has level access apart from a small step up to the front door.
  • The main door is side hung and manual.
  • The property can also be accessed through the patio doors at the front, leading into the kitchen. There is a step up.
