It occupies the whole of the ground floor of the owner's home and stands in an enviable position with panoramic views out to sea, the pier at Berwick upon Tweed and in the distance, The Farne Islands. All rooms in the apartment are of generous proportion and have laminate flooring making this the ideal location for the less mobile. This area steeped in history has unspoilt beaches, majestic castles and is within a short drive of Holy Island which can be reached across the causeway at low tide. The charming market town of Berwick upon Tweed is on the other side of the River Tweed. It is famous for the Elizabethan fortified walls which encircle the town and the remarkable rail bridge built by Robert Stephenson. The town offers a wide selection of shops, pubs, restaurants and cafes as well as a weekly market and an arts theatre. Bus and rail links are excellent.
