Description

The views from this semi-detached house are spectacular, to the north the pier and lighthouse at Berwick upon Tweed and southwards Lindisfarne and The Farne Islands. The house provides comfortable accommodation making it the ideal choice for a family seaside holiday being only a 5 minute walk to a sandy beach. Just over the River Tweed the town of Berwick is steeped in history and fascinating architecture with fine stone buildings, porticos and pantiled roofs. From here one can stroll along the impressive Elizabethan defence walls and enjoy lovely views over the estuary and out to sea. This is an excellent location for those seeking a holiday without the need to drive since Berwick is on the main east coast line, with excellent train and bus links. The cultural city of Edinburgh is a stunning train ride away through wonderful countryside. Outdoors enthusiasts will enjoy walking, fishing, sea angling, cycling, golfing, horse riding, quad biking and climbing.
