Farriers Cottage is a traditional stone-built farm cottage with accommodation all at ground floor level. A sunny conservatory leads to a large garden offering open views of the Northumbrian countryside. It is situated just a mile from the village of Christon Bank which has a pub and convenience store.
Christon Bank is only a five minute drive to the picturesque coastal village of Embleton, which has an unspoilt sandy beach. From Embleton Bay you can walk north towards Newton by the Sea, or south along the beach to Dunstanburgh Castle and Craster. There is a great selection of places to eat and drink nearby, including Dunstanburgh Castle Golf Club, The Ship Inn at Newton by the Sea, or The Jolly Fisherman in Craster.
