The Snook is a traditional stone cottage sitting in a farm setting with accommodation all at ground floor level. The cottage has been lovingly restored and offers stunning contemporary accommodation. Tastefully furnished to a high standard, the large kitchen/dining area offers a beamed ceiling and cosy wood burning stove, leading on to the lounge area which is flooded with light from the roof lantern. Large, glazed doors open to the enclosed contemporary cottage garden offering open views of the Northumbrian countryside. It is situated just a mile from the village of Christon Bank which has a pub and convenience store.
Christon Bank is only a five-minute drive to the picturesque coastal village of Embleton, which has an unspoilt sandy beach. From Embleton Bay you can walk north towards Newton by the Sea, or south along the beach to Dunstanburgh Castle and Craster. There is a great selection of places to eat and drink nearby, including Dunstanburgh Castle Golf Club, The Ship Inn at Newton by the Sea, or The Jolly Fisherman in Craster.
