This sheltered bay is popular with bird watchers and is ideal for all water sports from surfing to kayaking. Families will love the beach as not only is it one of the quietest beaches on the Northumberland coast, it is a sheltered bay which has some great rock pools, perfect for kids to play and explore!  It is easy to understand why Embleton was recently voted the best beach in the UK by BBC Countryfile Magazine readers.
