A fantastic sea-front property, right opposite the beach, and 5 minutes from Beadnell Bay. Sleeps five in 3 bedrooms, with 2 bathrooms. Accepts pets. enclosed garden. The property also has wi-fi & log burner.

Tastefully furnished in coastal hues, this property is a great base from which to explore the Northumberland Coast, is only 20 minutes from the A1 and ideal to explore further afield and the inland areas of Alnwick, Rothbury, Wooler and the Cheviot hills.

Set right on the sea front in Beadnell, it is close to the village shop, and pubs/restaurants in the village, the property is ideal for couples, small groups of friends and families.

Bringing Your Dog on Holiay to Topcliffe

Topcliffe welcomes well behaved dogs (up to 2) @ £25.00 per dog per week or part thereof. When you book you will be asked to provide some information about your pet which will aide the owner in ensuring that the property is set up to welcome them.

A bit of K9 etiquette should be observed during your stay:-

  • Your pet should not be left in the property unattended (unless crated - crates can be hired)
  • Your pet should not be allowed in the bedrooms or on furniture
  • On booking for your pet, you are confirming that it is fully up to date on its flea treatment.

Notes and special conditions
• Well behaved dogs (2) accepted @ charge of £25.00 per pet per week. Dogs are not allowed on furniture or in bedrooms and must not be left unattended in the property unless crated. (crates can be hired).
• If you are a larger group of up to 9, four guests can be accommodated in the adjacent property The Haven - sorry neither property accepts diving, stag or hen parties.

Reviews

This property was within minutes walk of the local shop, and a couple of village pubs. The beach directly opposite was ideal for dog walking, where you can walk along the Sea front to Seahouses. 10 minutes walk in the other direction gets you onto Beadnell Bay beach. We were very impressed with this property, and the location is stunning. Our family of 5 plus 2 dogs stayed here for 2 weeks in August. This property was within minutes walk of the local shop, and a couple of village pubs. We ate at the Craster Arms which is a pleasant pub, good food but not particularly cheap. The beach directly opposite the property is ideal for dog walking, where you can walk along the Sea front to Seahouses, and if you want to make a day of it further up the coast to Bamburgh. 10 minutes walk from the property in the other direction gets you onto Beadnell Bay beach, which also allows dog walking but was busier with families due to the beautiful golden sand - but by no means packed. We were very impressed with this property - clean well presented with everything we needed during our stay. There is a road between the property and the beach, but it wasn't busy and we had the windows open at night with no noise disturbance. The places we visited were Alnwick, Seahouses, Bamburgh and Lindisfarne - all of which were just stunning. If you are looking for a quiet location, peaceful beaches, stunning coastline and stacks of history - this is the perfect spot.

We had a lovely stay at Topcliffe, the cottage was warm and cosy and everything you could possibly need had been provided. Lovely location with views of the sea and access to the beach directly over the road. A local shop (1 minute walk) had all essentials and The Craster Arms pub just a 5 minute walk into Beadnell where we had a fantastic meal. We will definitely book again.

This was a holiday we should have taken in March, but to"Beast From The East" we were unable to get to Beadnell, it was snowed in.Stay Northumbria arranged with the owner that we could take the holiday in November instead.Our second visit to Topcliffe, funnily enough exactly the same November week we had there two years ago.The cottage lived up to all expectations again, clean, cosy and everything you needed,especially in the kitchen, which isn't always the case in some self catering.Pots, pans, cutlery all in abundance. Beautiful clean bedding,towels etc, and cuddly feather duvet in one of the bedrooms, covering the wonderful super king bed, both beds in double rooms are super king, or can be converted to two singles.The views are amazing, the house been right on the sea front, what more could you ask for? Toiletries also left, along with milk and delicious locally made biscuits, even two doggy goody bags for our canine friends, along with a large towel for their use, though sadly this time we only had the one dog as the other one is still in recovery from major joint surgery to his front leg, so had to stay at home.We shall most certainly be returning to this lovely bolt hole again for another holiday in the future.Thanks once again to Stay Northumbria for all your help.

We had a great 2 week stay at Topcliffe, The house is in a great location with wonderful views of the North Sea. A short walk to shop, beach and the Craster Arms. A 2 minute drive to Seahouses for shopping or a day out. The weather was very kind to us,a glorious 2 weeks of sunshine we even went swimming in the sea at Beadnell Bay.

Absolutely loved our stay at Topcliffe. The cottage itself has everything you need. The location in Beadnell is great for access to wonderful beach walks to Low Newton and beyond and we loved nipping over the quiet road in front of the cottage onto the beautiful beach opposite with our two dogs, who also loved their holiday. I would highly recommend Topcliffe, and will be booking again in the future.
