We recently spent a week in apartment 2 The Viking in Seahouses. Everything about our stay was perfect : Booking and information from Grace Darling Holidays was very efficient. The owner was very welcoming and gave us lots of useful information prior to our stay. Walking into the apartment certainly has the wow factor. The apartment is stylish, comfortable and was immaculate in every way - spotlessly clean, including bedding, mattress and pillow protectors and the mattresses themselves. The beds are extremely comfortable - we slept like logs. The apartment has everything you could need, including kitchen equipment for eating in or out. Everything is high quality - decor, furnishings, bedding, kitchen equipment etc. The view is magnificent - you can see Bamburgh Castle and even Holy Island in the distance. From the balcony you can see the Farne Islands. We liked the fact the apartment is in the centre of Seahouses - lively but not over-crowded (early September) - people-watching during the day and very quiet early evening onwards. Seahouses is a great base for visiting the many beautiful beaches, villages, towns and gardens in this stunning area. Huge thanks to the owner for the effort she goes to to make this such a lovely place to stay, including a very generous welcome pack. We had no problems at all but you certainly feel she would be quick to resolve any issues, should they arise. We will certainly stay here again when returning to Northumberland.
