Sea Poppy Cottage is a lovely house on the outskirts of the popular fishing village of Seahouses. Ideal for those looking for a seaside break, it is only 5 minutes from an excellent sandy beach, and only a few minutes walk from the fantastic Seahouses Golf Club. There is plenty to see and do in Seahouses, including boat trips to the Farne Islands, where you can see over one hundred different types of seabird, and if you are lucky may spot a colony of grey seals or a school of dolphins. Along the unspoilt Northumbrian Coastline are some incredible sights including Bamburgh and Dunstanburgh Castle, and Holy Island. Activities to be enjoyed in the area include fishing, cycling, boat trips, horse riding, golf. Shop: 0.4 miles Pub: 0.5 miles.
