Porthole Cottage is the ideal bolthole for a relaxing break on the Northumberland Coast with an open fire to toast your toes after a day exploring this stunning coastline and all it has to offer. Located just behind the dunes and golden sands of Beadnell Bay, the property can sleep 5 guests in complete comfort and boasts an enclosed west facing garden which makes for a wonderful suntrap all year round. Porthole Cottage is within walking distance of the village amenities including two pubs (serving food and local ales) two cafés and a village store. The property has been tastefully furnished and has a well equipped kitchen from which to prepare a lovely home cooked meal from local produce. A great location to make some lovely holiday memories.
Beadnell is set at the end of a glorious stretch of beach with its beautiful dunes known as Beadnell Bay, great for watersports, surfing, kitesurfing, windsurfing sailing and scuba diving. Ideal for walking and cycling the coast trails. With Bamburgh to the north, famed for its castle and the RNLI Grace Darling Museum. A short drive to the South is the fishing village of Craster, home to the famous 'Craster Kipper'. The coastline truly has a lot to offer.
Porthole Cottage is a brick and rendered semi-detached cottage in a perfect location so close to the beach.
Entrance: large cloakroom ideal for coats and boots.
Living Dining Room: This room is very spacious with comfortable sofas an open fire, Smart TV, DVD Player, Bose iPod dock and a large window to allow the the sun to stream into this room. The dining area has a table to comfortably seat six guests.
Kitchen: The kitchen is well equipped with an electric oven and ceramic hob, large freestanding fridge freezer, Washing Machine, tumble dryer and dishwasher.
Bedroom 1: A double bed in a spacious room with a large window, bedside tables, drawers, wardrobe, TV and hairdryer.
