4 star

This light and airy detached house boasts unrivalled sea views. Just a stone's throw from the sea, it has a magnificent view of the Farne Islands along the horizon. To the front of the house the rocky cove is a mass of rock pools fantastic to seek out fish and crabs. This contrasts with the views of Beadnell Bay from the back of the house, where the huge expanse of fine golden sand is perfect for sand castles. Beadnell is situated approximately midway along the 20 mile stretch of Heritage Coast and is noted for sailing, wind surfing and fishing. There are splendid coastal walks in the area and views of dramatic cliff top ruins including Dunstanburgh Castle. Beyond the Castle is Craster, a picturesque village famous for kippers and other smoked delicacies. A variety of seabirds and Grey Seal colonies can be observed on the Farne Islands by taking a boat trip from Seahouses.

We have been visiting Capenhurst for the past 16 years, and it is our perfect home away from home. This year, the property had obviously been recently redecorated, and had some brand new equipment. The house was immaculate, and a pleasure to stay in for our holiday. Location couldn't be better, perfect for long coastal walks which we love. Thank you, we will be back again next year.

Ms A,

The views from the property are just stunning. We could sit in bed in the morning and watch dolphins swim by, it doesn’t get much better than that!

Past Customer,

This was a lovely house to stay in, warm, very comfortable and in the BEST location. The garden was a great size for the dogs too. We were provided with a great service, efficient and friendly. We regularly visit the Beadnell-Bamburgh area and Northumbria Byways provide an excellent choice of properties to suit just about everyone.
