This comfortable mid-terraced property comprises of first and second floor accommodation with open views across a village green towards the sea and Coquet Island beyond. The local amenities in Amble and a sandy beach are all within walking distance. Amble has proudly declared itself 'the friendliest port' and over recent years has been extensively regenerated with a new pier and impressive marina and is now a colourful fishing and leisure port. The town sits on the estuary of the River Coquet, well located at the southern end of the 30 mile stretch of Heritage coastline noted for its varied wildlife, spectacular scenery and miles of clean, sandy beaches. Warkworth with its mediaeval castle is 2 miles. There are several RSPB nature reserves nearby and boat trips are available to observe the massive 36,000 colony of comical looking Puffins which nest on Coquet Island. Local recreational facilities include canoeing, sea and fresh water angling, sailing and golf. Amble has shops, pubs and a popular quayside market and for those not wishing to travel by car, there is a bus service in Amble and an excellent train service on the main east coast line, the nearest station being at Alnmouth, 5 miles.
