Description

Oaks One (formally known as The Oaks) is a lovely log cabin near Alnwick, situated at the Percy Wood Golf and Country Retreat guests can take advantage of free golf, close to the village of Swarland. Recently refurbished it has modern furnishings, comfortable seating, and Smart TV with Netflix.

Sleeping up to 6 guests, this log cabin is ideal for those who like to keep busy on holiday, being close to the Simonside Hills and there being plenty to do within the Retreat. Guests can take advantage of the free golf on the 18 hole golf course, sports court, coffee lounge, a children's play park and woodland walks from the doorstep. Swarland is ideally placed close to the A1 and is only a short drive to the market towns of Alnwick and Morpeth, as well as the beautiful Northumbrian coastline. Shop: 3 miles Pub: 1.7 miles.

 

Accomodation all on one level (5 steps up to property)

Open plan living room with comfortable seating, electric fire, Smart TV with Netflix, dining table and seating for 6, and french doors leading onto the decking.

Kitchen with gas hob and electric oven, fridge/freezer, microwave, washing machine and dishwasher.

Bedroom 1 with king size bed and Jack and Jill bathroom with over bath shower, washbasin and WC (bathroom can also be accessed from the hallway).

Bedroom 2 with twin beds.

Bedroom 3 with twin beds.

Shower room with washbasin and WC.

Outside: Wrap around decking with outdoor seating.

Reviews

We loved your property. The setting by the little lake is beautiful and it is so quiet there. You would have no idea that you are staying on a large holiday site. The new furniture in the property is beautiful and our only suggestion about that would be that you could possibly do with one more armchair, for when there are six people there. The kitchen is extremely well equipped and we found everything we needed to cook some lovely meals for ourselves there. We absolutely loved the balcony and spent a lot of time there. Also, we were able to play golf for free, which we had not expected. The property is positioned in a great location for visiting beaches, Castles, towns all along the coast. All in all, we had a fantastic time at your property at a time when we really needed it!
