Description
This former stone barn, part of an attractive range of farm buildings, has been skilfully converted to create a holiday home, retaining much charm and character. It is peacefully situated on a working farm, 4 miles from the historic town of Wooler, within the Northumberland National Park.
There are splendid views all around. Croft Cottage itself overlooks Yeavering Bell with its iron age fort. The River Glen close by provides excellent fishing. Visitors are welcome to walk round the farm, where a wealth of wildlife is to be seen whilst the numerous footpaths and old drove roads in the area provide for outstanding walking, horse riding and mountain biking. Shop: 3 miles Pub: 3 miles.

The magnificent Northumberland coast is within easy reach. Berwick with its Elizabethan fortifications is 13 miles, and Alnwick with the impressive castle and gardens, 20 miles. Wooler 4 miles, provides a good range of amenities. Riding and mountain bike hire available locally.
