This spacious stone cottage offers well-proportioned accommodation for a large family group or a group of friends wishing to holiday together. All of the four bedrooms benefit from either an en-suite bathroom or an en-suite shower room, one being a wet room, an advantage for the slightly less mobile. The views are spectacular across to the heather clad hills and exposed granite outcrops of the nearby Cheviot Hills. Countless footpaths and bridleways radiate in all directions to please walkers and mountain bikers of all abilities. To the east is the beautiful Northumberland coast which can easily be reached by car in 30 minutes. The northern Berwickshire coastline is noted for dramatic cliffs and sheltered coves whilst south around Bamburgh the shoreline boasts vast expanses of clean golden sand. Being on the northern perimeter of the National Park, a designated Dark Sky area, the night skies are spectacular. The Scottish Borders towns of Kelso, Jedburgh and Melrose are nearby and provide a good range of amenities and shops selling local produce. Floors Castle in Kelso has a magical fairytale look with its roofline of turrets and pinnacles. Fishing, hill walking, horse riding and golf available locally.

Ideal location for exploring North Northumberland and the Scottish Borders. Close to Coldstream and the River Tweed.

Located very close to the cottage is a qualified practitioner in Shiatsu and Reiki, for more information go to: www.christinepatient.com
