3 Cottages

One of Britain's 10 prettiest fishing villages as chosen by Countryfile Magazine (October 17 issue).

From its pretty stone built cottages, to its smokehouse, pub restaurants and the magnificent ruins of Dunstanburgh Castle, Craster is a sight to behold.

It's a great location right on the coast with its small harbour, to its wide expanse of links running down to the sea, its a popular destination for the mile and a half walk from the village to the castle, and is a stopping off point on the longer St. Oswald's Way.

With its resident artist Mick Oxley displaying his stunning artwork in his small gallery, and cafes and restaurants it's an ideal location to spend the day... or use the village as a base to explore further afield from one of these lovely village centre self-catering properties
