"Lovely cottage. great walk to Bamburgh castle. Just the break we needed. Hopefully we will be back! "
N & D - Oct 2017
"Well equipped cottage in an ideal spot for exploring the beautiful coast. Easy walking distance from shops, pubs and restaurants. The weather was kind to us and we did lots of long walks along the beaches, explored the castles and enjoyed a pint or two along the way. Our first time in Northumberland. We had a lovely holiday. "
Joanne and David - Oct 2017

"We have had a fantastic week. We first love the cottage - so comfortable, everything at hand and much appreciated welcome packs - for humans and dogs! Such a great location too, it has been so relaxing and quiet at the cottage but very easy to get to nearby shops, pubs and restaurants. We've had lots of great walks to Bamburgh, Beadnell and Low Newton to Dunstanburgh Castle. Thank you Neil and Jackie for a great cottage and a fabulous stay. We will definitely be back. Just perfect."
Mick and Lynne (and Stan the dog) - Sep 2017
"Found the cottage very comfortable and located in a good position for all the amenities in Seahouses. Visited Amble but stayed mainly around here, walking on the beaches to Beadnell and Bamburgh. Have had some super meals in The Links, our dog loved her treats, will definitely stay here again. This was our first experience here, although our third in Seahouses. "

"Thank you for the welcome packs - much appreciated. We have stayed at No 6 twice and our first time here in No 4 and have been very pleased with them. Very large and comfy bed here!! We have had lots of great walks on Seahouses and Bamburgh beaches (one very tired dog). Pinncales Fish and Chips excellent. Love the Ship Inn with amazing views. The Castle Inn (The Middle) at Bamburgh has a great garden at the back where the dog can chill out. They serve excellent meals. The Craster Arms at Beadnell also serve great meals and dogs are welcome! Had a great night on Thursday in the Black Swan as it is Quiz Night. Thank you, we hope to be back again in the near future as we have had a very relaxing time and the locals are so friendly. "

"Lovely quaint cottage with exceptionally comfortable bed. Thank you for the welcome packs. Our four legged companion's favourite part was the walks on the beach but enjoyed visiting the many dog friendly pubs for food as well! "

"We have had a fantastic week in your wonderful cottage. Great location, walking daily from the door. We have on tired and happy dog! "

"Thank you for another comfortable stay. Great holiday despite some poor weather. Elan, The Apple Core and Lucker, The Copper Kettle at Bamburgh (lunch) and the Ship at Low Netwon remain favourites for John (vegetarian) he gets a good choice as well as the food being excellent. I also love The Ship here but it has more limited choice, always very welcome at The Black Swan. We also love the Village Tea Rooms in Alnmouth and Barter Books, (easy to spend a full day in there) Alnwick. Good coffee and scones at Belford (farm/cake shop). Lots of great walks and birdwatching/photography - I find places I haven't walked before even after 32 years of regular holidays in Seahouses. Such lovely people come here to Northumberland. Where the locals are so patient but also don't let us holiday makers "take over"! Thank you, "

"We really enjoyed our stay here, excellent location very clean and equipped perfectly for a couple with a dog. We love the K9 pack (so did Max) and the tea, coffee, sugar and the washing up pack was very thoughtful. We have holidayed many times in Seahouses and Beadnell and must say that this has been one of the nicest locations we have had, especially if planning to walk to Beadnell and beyond. Many Thanks."

"Many many thanks for providing such a wonderful cottage in a beautiful part of the country. Clean, comfortable and close to all amenities. 10 out of 10. Thanks again."
Mrs & Mrs Barton - May 2017
"Beautiful cottage, everything we needed, clean and comfortable and so close to all amenities. Agree with previous comments, Lewis' the best fish and chips! Indian Brassarie on Main Street is a great Asian Restaurant. Many thanks for a great week. "
Barnard and Joyce - May 2017
"Lovely, comfortable cottage in a fantastic location. All aspects catered for including our dog Scruffy. Lots to do in the area and so many long walks to enjoy, we have one very tired dog. We couldn't come to the beach without trying Lewis's Fish and Chips, better than Neptunes. Pinnacles and Coxons Ice Cream are also worth a try. Bamburgh Castle is worth a visit and a spot of ghost hunting at Alnwick Castle. Thank you for a much needed break, after a tough start to the year. Looking forward to coming back. "
Kelly Chris and Scruffy - Mar 2017
"Although we normally stay in Beadnell, this time we decided to rent in Seahouses and so glad we did! The cottage has been so lovely and the location is fab. Also, the attention to detail had been amazing. During our stay, we have been to the Olde Ship for drinks, Lewis' for fish and chips, and the Cottage Inn in Craster/Dunstanburgh for Sunday Lunch... all of which we would recommend. A trip to Bamburgh for a walk on the beach and a visit in the castle has been the highlight of our stay, mainly helped by the glorious weather. Thank you for a lovely stay and we hope to return next year! "
Jen and Michael - Mar 2017
"Lovely cosy cottage, the welcome pack was a treat - thank you! Weather could've been better but we have had a lovely weekend, is a must to come again! "
John and Wendy - Mar 2017
"Lovely comfortable cottage, and lovely weather for this early in the year! The dogs have never been walked so much! Barter books at Alnwick is the largest book shop i've ever seen, and very friendly. If you do want food, we found Pinnacles fish and chips to be very good, or a trip to Alnmouth most pubs there are dog friendly and the Hope and Anchor does very nice Seafood (and you can bring the dog!) "
