"We are 5 ladies of a certain age - we have walked and eaten and drank and laughed all week in lovely sunshine. We've walked to Dunstanburgh Castle, Craster and Bamburgh. Boat trip to the Farne Islands on the most gloriously sunny day. We've been to Holy Island, Cragside and walked the Cheviots. We've stargazed in the back garden and on Wooler common. We've eaten fish and chips at Neptune, scones at the Copper Kettle in Bamburgh, best of all has been our morning cuppa sitting in the window looking at the fabulous view- oh how we will miss that! Thanks for a lovely week, we hope to return for more of the same. "

"Superb house to relax. Everything you need and lots more. Great location to go for a jog on the beach, walks and have family visit. Ate lots of fish, kipper and salmon cakes from Craster worth trying. Taken lots home to freeze. Lottie the dog enjoyed her first holiday too. "

    The Skinners - Oct 2017

"This is our 5th visit and it still doesn't disappoint. Views are spectacular, house is just what you need. People so friendly, so will be back! "

Ruth, Dave and Sheldon - Apr 2017

"A lovely, comfortable house in a stunning location. Although, as an elderly granny I wasn't able to get down onto the sand, I thoroughly enjoyed watching people and their dogs walk by and enjoy the fabulous beach! Very much enjoyed our week (particularly the Farne Islands and Cragside) and love my little bedroom - not to mention Northumberland generally, my 6th visit! We love our visit to Seahouses - the photos did not do the location justice and we will be back! "

Wendy, Vicky, Martin, Emily and Tom - Apr 2017

"Excellent accommodation. A great improvement on the one we have stayed in at Bamburgh in recent years (not with Stay Northumbria!!). Perfect location of course. Perfect weather too!"

    Edwarde family - Sep 2016

"Lovely stay in a homely house with enough creature comforts to make it very enjoyable. Largely nice weather with a couple of mixed days. Perfect evening out fishing with Unity Fishing Trips - brought home plenty of cod, mackerel and lobster to BBQ for tea! Hugo the dog has enjoyed the beach walks immensely. Looking forward to returning soon."

Nicki, Jeremy, Grace and Brandan - Aug 2016

"Thank you so much for letting us stay in your beautiful house! It truly is just the perfect location, right by the beach. The house was just so great, all together there were 6 of us and it didn't feel cramped at all! Oh and a 5-month old puppy who absolutely loved running round in the huge garden!. The bedrooms were so cute and the beds were really comfy also. Throughout the week we have spent lovely hot days on the beach - crab fishing, sitting/sunbathing and strolling along it, listening to the waves. We have also been on a boat trip to the Farne Islands and saw loads of seals (highly recommended). Thank you."

    Zloch party - Aug 2016

"Our second week at Seaton this year! This time we had our two oldest grandchildren to share the holiday with us (and their mum and dad too!). We had fun hunting for crabs in rock pools, playing Frisbee and ball with our two dogs and of course looking round the shops. The weather was not bad - few showers but on the whole reasonable. Grace and Lewis not looking forward to going home and neither are we. Such a lovely place to stay. Who could tire of looking at the sea from their front window? Thank you for giving us the pleasure of staying here again."

    Butler party - Aug 2016

"Thank you for letting us stay at Seaton. We had a very enjoyable holiday. Weather was the best in the last 4 years! "

Our dogs were very thankful for the K9 welcome packs - what a lovely touch. Thank you for sharing your lovely house with us."

"Our first time in Seahouses. Very friendly people. Everywhere has accommodated our giant dog. We have had a lovely stay in Seaton. A very well equipped house. Our dog loved the huge garden. Seaton is ideally situated for shopping and exploring. We had wonderful huge meals in the Bamburgh Caslte Inn, very dog-friendly. We also enjoyed visiting Bamburgh - highly recommend the Castle Inn for lunch. We loved waking up to the view of the beach - fabulous! We were lucky iht the weather too.
