"Topcliffe and The Haven (next door) ideal for holiday with four generations of family. Downstairs en-suite bedroom was perfect for Great Granny (94) - Next door plenty of floor space for the toddlers. Had a very good holiday - even made sand castles on the beach right across the road. Special thanks to Jackie at Stay Northumbria for the thoughtful purchase of a grab handle in the shower after just a throw away remark I made in our first phone conversation. "

"A lovely week in this warm and comfortable cottage. We decided to self cater this visit to Northumberland. We find it easier and more relaxing with the two dogs. Kitchen is so well equipped. We've had a great week for our second visit to Beadnell and we will be returning. "

Gill and Graham - Mar 2018

"Perfect location for half term with an 8 years old boy and 5 year old daughter, along with Grandparents, friends and dogs. We loved Beadnell Bay and the sand dunes, as well as the beach opposite for fishing. We walk to Seahouses for fish and chips and back - and the kids had a dip in the sea, despite being Londoners! Clear skies, were great for star gazing with our telescope set up by the benches opposite. And after every adventure there was the warm, cosy cottage to return to, PERFECT! Thank you. "

    The Dobsons - Nov 2017

"Lovely week apart from Wednesday when it rained all day. Great cottage - warm, cosy and well equipped. Very comfy beds. The K9 pack was really useful! So nice to walk over the road and be on the beach every morning with the dogs. Local shop convenient as well! Really like Beadnell as a base and as Topcliffe is so welcoming we would love to stay here again."
