Methods of Payment explained

Due to the high cost of card transactions, yes, we even have to pay the banks to process your debit cards - Please see below our preferred methods of payment and what you need to do to secure your booking.

 

When booking online please identify from the drop down menu which of the following you wish to do, and one of the team will contact you once we receive your booking request, and take all the details necessary to process your booking.

 

Bank Transfer - either online payment or via your bank.  Please use the details at the bottom of this page to make your transaction and then email us once the payment has been made.  Sorry but other than by you telling us, we do not get to know you have made your transaction, other than by checking our bank account, and we may only access the account once or twice a day, less frequently at weekends.

This is the most cost effective way for us to process your payment. There should be no fees for either of us

Select Bank transfer from the drop down options when placing your booking. You will be contacted to confirm this, and we will require you to provide a card detail on which we will reserve the booking until your funds arrive.

If you are required to lodge a good housekeeping bond for the property, this card will be used to lodge your bond at the time of your stay, your card expiry date, must therefore be “indate” at the time of your stay. 

 

We also accept:

International Bank Transfer - any fees involved in the transaction are the responsibility of the payer, please ensure you tick the correct box on your transaction.

To pay by Debit Card Payment -  Choose “pay by card” and one of the team will contact you to process your booking and take your card details, which will be securely processed on our 3D secure system. Whilst this method is free for you, our costs are high amounting depending on the type of card from 1.8% to 2.5% of the transaction.

To pay by Credit Card payment - As Debit Card process, but even higher fees for us anywhere from 2.5-3% of the transaction.

Sorry we are unable to accept Company Credit or Debit Cards, cheques or cash payments for holiday cottage bookings.
